Today, we know that data is not only the new oil, as the modern saying goes, but it is also much more valuable than that. For companies, it is of the utmost value in decision-making, a key asset to drive new levels of performance, operational accelerator, and innovation driver.
We met as two young developers in the same team while working for a global investment bank based in Switzerland, with the mission of transforming the company’s approach to Data Governance. Over time, we built our competencies and soon became Lead Developers, responsible for growing that team, training other people, and implementing a lot of complementary Data Governance concepts. Karol was more business-focused and Lukasz technology-focused.
Not surprisingly, after a couple of years of great results, we felt that we could do more for other companies if we ran similar data programs. In a short period, MURDIO took off, and we easily won new projects.
