A Collibra Ranger is a versatile specialist who combines the skills of a Developer, Integration Developer and Solution Architect, which means they can deliver any Collibra use case practically on their own.

Collibra Rangers hold Collibra certifications (Collibra Ranger Certificate), demonstrating their ability to manage an entire project independently (e.g., implement a use case from A to Z). They also earned a prestigious CDMP certification, awarded by DAMA International, proving a wealth of knowledge around general data management and their hands-on experience.

In addition to handling many tasks on their own, they often act as mentors, coaches, and sometimes as rescuers of tasks that require quick and effective intervention.

Murdio’s Collibra Rangers boast over 6 years of commercial experience in data governance projects.

Collibra Solution Architects are experts who configure and design Collibra’s architecture with the organization’s business needs in mind. They have an excellent understanding of the business context and create a vision for the system, which the developers then apply.

They are responsible for creating concepts, drawing asset models, diagrams, and presenting the “big picture” of the project.

Their job requires frequent meetings with stakeholders and Product Owners and working with the team to ensure that all elements of the architecture are aligned with business goals.

Although Collibra sells a ready-made system, companies discover its true value by customizing it to their own needs. This role is responsible for leading the implementation and rollout of the Collibra Data Catalog, working closely with the Product Manager to increase the catalog’s value within the company by expanding its use and onboarding additional cases.

The Data Catalog Engineer manages the setup and customization of the Collibra Data Catalog, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. They install Collibra Edge, deploying it on your server, and collaborate with the infrastructure team to configure the necessary ports, enabling communication between Collibra Edge and the main platform.

They’re proficient in configuring all Data Catalog capabilities, including Edge features like metadata ingestion, automated data classification, data sampling, data protection, data profiling, and technical lineage. Additionally, they can develop custom integrations with Collibra’s catalog to suit your organizational needs.

Technologies they work in: Linux, Kubernetes.

This role provides ongoing assistance and troubleshooting for Collibra users according to our highest standards of customer service. The Support Specialist analyzes user requests, identifies the causes of problems, and takes corrective action within their area of expertise.

For more complex problems that require additional intervention, they forward requests to the appropriate technical teams or Collibra experts.

We train our support specialists to be quick, efficient, and proactive, always maintaining a can-do attitude.

Our Product Owner plays a pivotal role in ensuring the Collibra roll-out aligns with your company’s strategic goals. They manage the product vision, prioritize features, and ensure the development team focuses on delivering maximum value through each sprint.

Our Product Owner is not just a task manager – they’re an expert in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical execution, enabling seamless communication, alignment, and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

The key responsibilities of a Product Owner include defining the product vision, prioritizing the backlog, facilitating stakeholder collaboration, and optimizing your team’s output for quick value enablement.
