🚀 We’re Hiring: Data Governance Consultant (Remote)

#BetterCallMurdio, because that’s what people say when their Collibra implementation needs saving. We’re the world’s most Collibra-certified team (19 Rangers, the most of any partner globally), and for 9+ years, we’ve been the geeks banking, insurance, pharma, retail, big tech, and FMCG call when they need real value out of their data governance setup. Now we’re looking for a Data Governance Consultant to join our remote crew and work shoulder-to-shoulder with our Rangers on projects for some genuinely big names.

🔹 Your responsibilities: 

• Lead the implementation of Data Governance, Data Quality & Data Catalog solutions, following Murdio’s adoption-led framework: starting from business impact, not “implement the entire platform”
• Design and implement governance frameworks tied to actual business objectives, not just tick boxes
• Keep metamodels lean and stable rather than theoretically perfect. Complexity is what kills adoption
• Drive initiatives around data quality, metadata management, and data stewardship, with stewards treated as the real drivers of ROI
• Run hands-on workshops (not slide decks) and give stakeholders, both business and technical, the expert guidance they need
• Spot and defuse the classic stall patterns early: metamodel bloat, business disengagement, premature integrations, weak workflow design
• Work cross-functionally to ship data transformation projects that actually move the needle
• Help clients build habits that improve trust, compliance, and data-driven decisions, for good, not just for the audit

🔹 What we’re looking for: 

• 3–5 years in consulting, data management, or another client-facing role
• Hands-on experience with Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Catalog, or Metadata Management tooling
• Prior experience with Collibra is a strong plus
• Solid grasp of Data Governance and Data Quality frameworks
• Sharp communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving instincts 
• Fluent English (C2)
• A problem-solving mindset, genuine care for clients, and an appetite for learning. That matters more to us than a perfect CV.
