#BetterCallMurdio, because we’re Collibra geeks – this is literally what we do for a living. We’re the world’s most Collibra-certified team (19 Rangers, the most of any partner globally), and for 9+ years, we’ve been the team banking, insurance, pharma, retail, big tech, and FMCG call when they need real value out of their data governance setup. We’re not just implementing Collibra, we’re building toward being the best Collibra implementation team worldwide, and we have our own way of working to get there.
We’re looking for a Collibra Expert / Architect to join our growing international team and lead enterprise-scale Data Governance initiatives.
🔹 Your responsibilities:Â
- Design and build Collibra solutions end-to-end: metamodels, workflows, integrations, and technical lineage, following Murdio’s adoption-led approach of lean, stable configurations over theoretical perfection
- Configure and extend Collibra Workflow Designer (BPMN) to automate ownership, certification, and approval processesÂ
- Build and maintain integrations between Collibra and source systems (SAP, Snowflake, Databricks, BI tools & more) via APIs and Edge connectors
- Own the technical architecture of client implementations: environments, permissions, migration paths between dev/test/prod, and versioning of workflows and metamodels
- Troubleshoot and repair broken or unstable Collibra setups, including custom scripting and configuration fixes
- Automate metadata ingestion, lineage capture, and quality rule triggers to keep Collibra running at enterprise scale without manual upkeepÂ
- Challenge the standard playbook: question out-of-the-box patterns and templated approaches when they don’t fit the client, and design custom solutions instead of forcing a cookie-cutter fixÂ
- Mentor other engineers on Collibra technical best practices as part of our Ranger knowledge-sharing culture
🔹 What we’re looking for:Â
- Solid hands-on experience with the Collibra platform (Data Catalog, Data Governance Center, Workflows, Lineage, Integrations)Â
- Strong understanding of Data Governance and Metadata Management conceptsÂ
- Experience working directly with business and technical stakeholdersÂ
- Familiarity with SQL, APIs, and data integration conceptsÂ
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skillsÂ
- Fluent English (C2)
🔹 What we offer:Â
âś… Fully remote work, with occasional team meetups at our Warsaw officeÂ
âś… International projects with leading organizationsÂ
âś… A seat alongside 26 Murdio experts, 19 of them Collibra RangersÂ
âś… Real learning, mentoring, and certification opportunities, including a path toward becoming a Collibra Ranger yourselfÂ
âś… A flat structure, zero micromanagement, and a culture that’s collaborative, curious, and a little nerdyÂ
âś… Competitive compensation and long-term growth opportunities
